1. Spacing model
SMD small pitch package technology is subject to the principle of welding technology, breaking through the point spacing below 1mm becomes very difficult, and COB small pitch LED display does not exist this limitation, usually the point spacing can be controlled in 0.6~2.0mm, can do the traditional LED small pitch can not be mass produced in the field of P1.0 below.

2. Display the effect
SMD small pitch screen with higher pixel density and better color performance, can present more delicate, clearer images and videos. Although the COB small-pitch screen has a lower pixel density, it can achieve higher brightness and wider viewing Angle because the LED chip is directly attached to the circuit board.

3. Protective

The LED chip of the SMD small-pitch LED display is packaged in a plastic package, and the contact area with the circuit board is small, and the heat dissipation performance is relatively poor. Therefore, COB has more advantages in practical stability.
